UBER Hackathon will be hosted at the innovation hub Startup Village, in the first tech coworking space in Copenhagen, Founders House.
We have decided to come to Denmark since we know there are so many talented people and our goal is to bring eager entrepreneurs, engineers, software developers, designers, tech enthusiasts and urban planners together for two days and challenges them to create a cool app to improve their city.
We are looking for people who are motivated to solve real problems, passionate about their city and capable of developing great ideas and fine products.
RULES & GUIDELINES:
You will have a total of 36h to work with your group on an app that will make Copenhagen a smarter city. That is pretty much the only rule. You can choose to either think of an idea before hand or come up with one when you get here.
The rest is up to you and the sky’s your limit… well as close as you can get to it in 36h 😉
What the judges will be looking for:
- A working demo at judging time
- What kind of service does this provide for citizens and visitor of Copenhagen?
- What is the value that is created? Not monetary but for the community
PRIZES:
The winners will get an all inclusive 2-day trip to Amsterdam, where they’ll get to meet the Engineering team at our European Headquarters.
